The TS-1677X includes models with AMD Ryzen 7 1700 (8-cores/16-threads), AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (6-cores/12-threads) and AMD Ryzen 3 1200 (4-cores/4-threads) that support AES-NI encryption acceleration and up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM. Every model provides two 10GBASE-T RJ45 ports (that support 10G/5G/2.5G/1G/100M speeds) and three PCIe slots for incredible expansion potential. Supported PCIe devices include a graphics card, 10GbE/40GbE NICs, USB 3.1 expansion cards, and QM2 cards (that add additional M.2 SSDs or 10GbE connectivity). The QXG-10G1T is equipped with the Aquantia AQtion AQC107 NIC that supports 10/5/2.5/1Gbps and 100Mbps speeds. The RJ45 connector design also allows users to use their existing cables. By using Cat 5e cables, transmission speeds can reach up to 5Gbps, while using Cat 6a cables can deliver up to 10Gbps connectivity

RAID Scrubbing runs in the background with minor performance impact (depending on storage space sizes). QNAP recommends running RAID Scrubbing weekly or monthly, according to access frequencies of data stored in the NAS. Users can configure RAID Scrubbing settings in "Storage Manager" > "Global Setting" > "Data Scrubbing".

Snapshots can also record the metadata of files outside the file system and allow users to preserve and restore multiple versions of the same file, folder or even the entire volume. If ransomware attacks or an unexpected situation arises on the system, users can quickly and easily revert back to the previous state that the snapshot has recorded. Snapshot Replica facilitates double protection that replicates snapshots to a remote QNAP NAS or server.
